In this uncertain and unstable Economic Climate it is a great blessing to be able to recycle your goods and also make an extra buck for doing so. A good idea is to go through all your belongings every few months to de clutter your home and then you can decide what to do with the discarded goods.
1. You can either give it all to charity and for a good cause of your choice.
2. You can go to your local flea market or car boot sale as we have here in the U.K and sell your stuff at bargain prices. I have myself done many car boot sales in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Not only do you have fun but you get to maybe sell your stuff to others that will find it useful so the items don’t go to waste and you can then use that money for something green too, like a green gadget or some nice green clothing. WHATEVER YOU DECIDE TO DO RECYCLING PAYS AND BENEFITS MANY PEOPLE all round so no one is the Loser.
Doing this exercise every few months is also a cleansing and refreshing experience as too much clutter can make you feel stifled and in a mode of procrastination.

Going Green takes guts and firstly it needs an Idea…
All goof things start from thoughts and thus going green has to start from a will of sorts. The best way to start this process is to take a few quiet moments during the day or evening where you can meditate on green energy and light.
Once you are sitting or lying comfortably you can start inhaling green light and exhaling carbon emissions! This way your thought process will eventually become this:
From Mean to Green. Everything happens through an idea and if you can as an individual shift your consciousness just a tad bit to the green side, then you will get inspiration and help from many sources known and unknown to you that will help you to make your green dream come true. I can see it happening to me a little bit every day. A small progress which then one day creates a giant leap forward. Never think it is costly and impossible to go green. If you blogging or even reading this blog it is a green act in itself because you are not chopping down a tree to read what I have just written!
SO TRY OUT THIS LITTLE EXERCISE TODAY AND SEE HOW MUCH BETTER YOU WILL FEEL THROUGH IT.

Many people nowadays are fed up with working the grueling shifts of a boring 9 to 5 daily job. Now what with wages at an all time low and Inflation standing at an all time high many people are opting now for a work at home based job.
There are many advantages to working from home as this is what I do myself and as my work grows daily I feel a great level of achievement with my income growing and not dwindling in the process.
1. You can work the hours to suit you witut someone else shoving abuse down your throat or being plain unapreciative of your hard labour.
2. You don’t have to waste time and money in traveling costs which makes your life greener in many wasy as it helps you cut down carbon emmissions as you don’t use your car!
3. You can set goals for yourself and if disciplined enough you can reach targets you could not otherwise dream of.
4. For the same hours you worked for someone else earning a miserly wage, you can earn money through Viral Marketing Systems in the comfort of your own home and there is no limit to your income potential.
5. Becoming your own boss means you can find green alternatives at home to make your office life sustainable rather than working in someone else’s unhealthy and polluting environment.
6. you can earn more which means you can spend more money in going green and helping your community go green also.
7. You can run websites and blogs which display carbon emission cutting widgets and so have all your business going green as you grow it!
these are just a few reasons why working from home can really help you and the ENVIRONMENT.

Green Algae now is becoming quite popular amongst renewable energy pioneers as a firm favorite for curbing carbon emissions and producing clean fuel for the World at Large. There are many experiments going on at this moment around the Globe in various places, from the U.S and Canada to the other side of the Pond in the U.K which is quite promising indeed as an alternative to costly fossil fuels.. Costly not only in production but also the the Environment.
You can read here about a wonderful Interview between CNN and Glen Kertz, the President and CEO of Valcent Products, how important and promising this looks for the Global Economy and sustainable living that we are all in need of at this critical time in our whole existence. Not only does green algae grow fast through the Sunshine that helps it but it also produces half of its weight in oil so it is great as a bio diverse fuel and cheap to grow.
Here isa wonderful video you can view which will inspire you and give you hope that there are people out there trying their best and are concerned for our welfare. Our job is to try and lobby Governments to do their bit and large companies to help with further investments.

We always think about going Green as being something extraordinary and would take a lot of money and effort which maybe some of aspects of this can be true in certain cases but most of the time going green is all about saving resources and becoming more effient in the way we manage our money and our shopping.
Buying wholesale or in bulk as it were is a great way to save on resources and also put more money in your pocket. If you go to certain food wholesalers you could perhaps save at least a third on your grocery shopping and visiting wholefood markets and farms for fresh produce and eggs is a great way to stock up on some esseontials.
Fruit and veggies are becoming quite expensive now in the Supermarkets so it pays to go local and to buy fruit and veg in season as this is not only much healthier but could also save on packaging material and transport as much of the more exotic varieties of food have to come a long way before they hit our dinner table.
So next time you go shopping think about what you can save the Earth on when you buy in bulk, resources and money wise. Buying your big bottle of oil or bag of rice for example can cut down on the packaging used for many smaller bags and so on, the list can be endless.

There are simple ways in which we can go Green and that is by conserving the energy we already consume to become more energy efficient and economical. Reducing waste on all levels is one of the most important factors of living a greener life.
Many of us use appliances like computer and televisions and the one mistake we make is leaving them on standby but this isn’t being energy efficient. When not using these appliances it is much better to switch them off from the mains. This will save a lot of energy and reduce carbon footprint.
Many people make the mistake of leaving lights on in rooms that they are not using, try your best not to leave the lights on unnecessarily and use energy saving light bulbs if you can. These not only work out cheaper for you but also use up less electricity.
If you are using a car try your best not to leave the engine running while you are waiting in traffic or going out to pay for your gas as this can save energy and money for you at the same time. If you can car share and use your car less also this is great so taking up exercise and short walks is better than driving to the local shops for a pint of milk or a bag of tea.
When you do your washing try to dry your clothes outside instead of on the radiator so you don’t waste energy and try not to use a dryer as this is wasting more electricity too. If you can follow these few tips there are plenty more which will be coming here soon.

A great way to reduce your carbon foot print but at the same time tke a nice break to see some wonderful part of Planet Earth is to go and visit through an Ecological platform that is go on an Eco Tour or get into a volunteer group or charity run. You may even get your expenses cut to a minimum or waved completely if you go through a charity or trust.
For the energetic types or simply for those that want..or need to..get into shape trekking holidays up the Alps, Andes or Hymalayas are a good bet and you are bound to see some truly fantastic virgin countryside! One place in the U.K that is a must for the Avid Eco Traveler has to be The Eden Project with its glass domes green houses and experimental projects on a variety of flora from all over the World.
The best best way to go on an Eco bgreak is to first and formost decide on how you long you have to give yourself then you can decide on whereabouts of taking this break and destination. There are many sites now offering greener ways to travel and you can pick and choose, depending on the cost and level of activity you wish to participate in.

I found a really unusual bunch of Eco gizmos today and these sun and moon jars are right up my street. I am tempted to get my self a pair so that they may light up my life..or the life of perhaps a loved one or two.
They come in yellow or blue and what they do is get charged via sunlight during the daytime and then they can give you up to five ours of light in the evening so they make lovely lamps of frugality and economy for those working at their desks at night!
These clever little items make a great present and at only $17.95 they come as a wonderful treat especially when you are saving your pennies.
You can find them here for your perusal. Personally I find them extremely romantic and would be something I would by for my Intended or Other Half at some point where is isn’t expecting it..as a surprise maybe on a moody and quiet day.

You will be able to see from the startling evidence shown on this video that the Climate, due to Global Warming isn’t getting any better. In the U.S there are hurricanes and storms coming into the fore more frequently and this is not going to change unless Governments take bigger action against this menace that is plaguing our Planet.
What also is a problem is that tax payer’s money isn’t being well spent on infrastructure either so we have two impending problems here. One is that the climate change is making things worse but another thing is that we are not well equipped to deal with this first problem so we are quite doomed unless something changes in the mentality of our political leaders but we have to remember it is not only Their Problem it is ours too.
