Schools in the U.K fight to tackle Climate Change.
Now we have some promising report and you can read more in depth on what The Yorkshire Times has to say about this encouraging news.
Schools all over North Yorkshire in the U.K have been partaking in an energy saving project in their effort to help tackle Climate Change and the results have been very promising. They have already saved up tpo 20% of their energy costs which means that those much needed school funds can be spend on other immediate needs the School may have at the time instead of on Electricity etc.
The Climate Action Programme as it is called is an initiative running throughout the whole of the Harrogate Area and it is not resigned only to School Boards but is also targeted at the school children themselves who are currently learning ways in which they can help slow down Global Warming and live greener lives in general.
If all the Schools took part in these types of programmes and also then invested in total green energy you can see what savings would be made financially for the school plus the help it would be offering to our ailing Planet which would benefit from this shift in day to day school living.
